She left the Human Settlements, Water and Sanitation committee on July 19, 2019, and joined the Portfolio Committee on Sports, Arts, and Culture on September 5, 2019, leaving it on October 8, 2020.</p><p><br></p><p>On June 21, 2021, Nkabane was named to the Committee for Section 194 Enquiry, tasked with determining Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane's fitness to hold office.</p></div></div>
